OUR PEOPLE
The eight executive officers are responsible for ensuring that CSES achieves its goals, serves the student body fairly, and remains accountable for its actions. They all hold regular office hours during the school year (in ME 3390) and can be reached via email for platform-specific inquiries.
PRESIDENT
Tristan Durie
The President serves to oversee and guide the society and the CSES team. The President manages our partnerships & student groups, guides the council, facilitates engineering jacket orders, and deals with media relations.

Cylina El-Bouchi
The Vice-President Finance manages the society's budget. This includes tracking all spending and reimbursements, preparing applications, reviews, tax forms, and divvying up Student Group Funding (SGF.)

Our Vice-President External is our conference master! The VPX represents CSES to external organizations, including those at the provincial and national levels, and manages our conference delegations. The VPX runs our charity campaigns, too, and liaises to increase professional development opportunities for you!

The Vice-President Services manages Alexander's Office, the engineering café (Leo's Lounge), bookable meeting rooms (SGRC & CSES boardroom), and equipment & textbook resources.

The Vice-President Internal is our policy guru, managing all things admin & behind the scenes (Wiki, minutes, and eNewsletter, to name a few!) Additionally, the VPI is in charge of frosh- & grad-specific affairs.

Elizabeth Wilson
The Vice-President Publications manages our brand and publications. These include our newspaper (the Iron Times), our news segment (the Gong Show), the official handbook/agenda, Carleton Engineering Passport, social media, media team coverage of events, graphic design, and branding.

The stream councillors (along with the executive) form the CSES Council, which is the decision-making body of CSES. Councillors are elected to represent engineering students in their programs. First Year Councillors are elected to represent first-year engineering students at large.
